BOWLING FOR EVERYONE
Alvor Bowls Club welcomes bowlers of all ages and abilities and is always looking for new members. With us you can enjoy playing both socially and competitively.
The "Santo António Bowling Club" was originally founded in 1995 by José Martins da Silva aiming to promote a sport that was not well known in Portugal. This family owned green has a maximum capacity of 9 rinks and provides a wide variety of bowls experiences, from competitions, to tournaments and social bowls.
Much more than a business, our green is home of golden sunsets, spontaneous family dance contests and memorable parties. Here, the only thing blocking that sweet sun light might be a skydiver.

Club Facilities
All the facilities you need are immediately at hand around the green, including bar and kitchen with an undercover dining area, toilets and changing rooms and greenside seating. We also have dedicated parking.
Our complex also provides a home to Pickleball Clube Alvor, where we have two dedicated pickleball courts. We can provide tuition and equipment so you can enjoy this fast-growing sport. You can find further details on the Pickleball Clube Alvor Facebook page.
Our green
We have an excellent squad of bowlers who form the basis of our membership and can field strong but friendly opposition against visiting teams if matches are required.
